In case you didn’t know, music artist Akon is making some major moves, to electrify 1 million homes in his home town Africa by the end of the year through solar energy…MAJOR, yet the media has yet to give the news coverage it rightly deserves, over shadowed by s**t like that Caitlyn Jenner news recently etc etc…
Check out the inspiring vid below where Akon gives an in-depth talk about the project and his vision going forward…AK-SWITCHED-ON!…
For me, having a positive outlook on life attracts positive results, so whatever the situation find a way to channel your energy in a positive way, surround yourself with positive people, and spread them positive vibes as far n wide as possible…those negative folk exist, who can take up your time and energy, so just make sure you keep it moving, always!…
Went to The Chelsea Flower Show last week and absolutely loved it! Thanks to fellow friend and collector of my art Simon for inviting me down…was expecting flowers galore yes, but the scale and art fusion element blew me away, in particular the sculptures on display and the vividness/richness of it all…Dad used to go all the time, didn’t quite get the whole flower hype, but after visiting can see now what the fuss was about, fully inspired!…
Now I’m not the most political person, but prior to all this election malarkey, I met a mate through a brother-in-law, and he mentioned he had this super cool Pixelstick and wanted to ‘light paint’ some political art, thought why not…
The PixelStick “A tool which allows timelapse photographers to get even more creative with light. The 2 metre device holds 200 coloured led’s that walk through any image the user asks it to, from detailed artwork to your own face.”
Heres how it works…
The idea was to create some real basic artwork based on individual character themes…
…then use the PixelStick to light paint infront of polling stations in and around London…
Didn’t know what to expect, but images turned out pretty sweet, all about the process and how the shot was executed…thinking some sweet ‘light graf’ pieces next…
