Big respect to @kingcookdaily for inviting me down to pimp up the windows of the #CookDailyCulture Truck® for @vegannightsldn – been a @cookdailylondon fan from the minute I had a Jerk bowl many moons ago suggested by JME (on Twitter) so to contribute to the night was a vibe in itself bangin’ Teriyaki Bites, Grime, Sun, Art VIBE® – plus I genuinely rate passionate & progressive individuals who independently make their own moves and build their own thing, regardless of all the hype / dead vibes around them…support the REAL ones bruv!…
So to celebrate this gorg sun we’ve been having in London, thought i’d drop this delightful yellow number – Mickey In The 90s – Swarovski crystals on Giclee print canvas / 12cm x 12cm / Limited Edition of 25 / Signed & Numbered, with love, might I add…
Also, been running some self-funded projects in my local community as well as at other community centres across London, providing Art workshops to help people engage more creatively, which is nice and super rewarding, only material / space costs can add up…
So, I decided to create a PINS ‘Art Fund’ to help sponsor these activities, which would now be 10% of online sales donated to the fund, allowing buyers to be part of a more meaningful transaction and help aid my greater purpose of ’empowering humanity through creativity’ – yes, I finally have a purpose in life, takes a while to make sense of it all, but when you get there, you get there…trust the process my friend…
Art is my therapy. So the more I create, the more I feel good. It’s like if you ever feel s**t or stressed out with life, just create. No rules, no nothing, just release the vibe. I recently had the sweet pleasure of working alongside a good friend of mine who needed a brand identity / logo for her Supper Club ‘Ramen & Sazeracs’, a fusion of diverse flavours and vibes, at the Darjeeling Express Restaurant in Kingly Court, the heart of Carnaby Street.
The overall project came together from a shared love for great food & vibes by Dianna (the friend), but also through the collective talents of people we knew personally, allowing each person to shine in their field.…
