#NoFaceLikePhone – My first ever independent (no gallery backing), socially driven exhibition kicked off 2 days ago and is now open til 26th October, 10-8pm daily at 14 Percy Street, London W1T 1DR.

This was to help raise vital funds for the youth charity that helps young people aged 13 to 30 get into jobs, education and training.…
View post →We finally have the details of my independently organised solo show to share with you, it’s happening…
The inspiration behind #NoFaceLikePhone stemmed from a moment with a friend well over a year ago during dinner. For some reason, she was on her phone the whole time updating Facebook / Twitter etc to tell everyone where she was, who with and what food she was about to eat…i’m sure you or someone you know can relate…
It wouldn’t have bothered me as much if it was just a moment or two of online activity, fair enough, but it was the whole time, to the point her chicken got cold and I just got annoyed (I ate her chicken, waste not…)
After the dinner, this made me question relationships on the whole and how truly connected we are with one another, with our phones between us the whole time…
So I decided to create an entire body of work based around our relationships with our phones and their impact on general society.…
View post →During the last year, I became an artist in residence in the old Guardian building down Farringdon (previous base for both The Guardian and The Observer papers), where I was able to produce a solid body of work with the intention of having a solo show by the end of my time there…
So finally, after keeping it all hush hush for so long, happy to announce the show title #NoFaceLikePhone and launch date, 20th October, and even more happy to say, it’s all independent or ‘Pindependent’ (like that) with no gallery backing this time around, nothing against that, just wanted to take more control with things so I can give you more of my vision, exactly the way I like.…
