Made some AirMAX Nike ID in August at Nike Town, thanks to a generous gift card from my exceptional brother and sis-in-law (the bestest), and only received them the other week…
Rolled into Nike Town wearing them and randomly bump into the man, the legend, that is Tinker Hatfield! He was down for the Nike HyperAdapt launch (the Power-Lacing shoe) and was kind enough to sign my shoes. This guy has inspired me since school dayz, so to meet him was something else, such a chilled and humble dude…and after watching his segment on the Abstract: The Art Of Design series on Netflix, was mad inspired by his process and vision, to think and put your own shit into some type of context, super relatable, plus the cool factor of making something which has created such an immense culture around it…true G!
