THINK smART – SAATCHI GALLERY

Went along to the Saatchi Gallery yesterday where admission is FREE and they have the nicest female assistants!

The gallery, opened up by Charles Saatchi in 1985, is known for housing some of the most current contemporary art situated on Kings Road SW3 (nearest station Sloane Square). Most of the artists shown at the gallery are unknown not only to the general public but also to the commercial art world: the gallery almost acts as a springboard to launch careers.

Here’s some of my fav pieces from the collection…

Swarm, Tessa Farmer

The Liberals (3rd Version), Toby Zeigler

Ochoa, Jamie Gili

Exstacy Almond Blossom 3, Mustafa Hulusi

Portrait No.18, Luke Rudolf

Portrait No.19, Luke Rudolf

Black Grape, Dick Evans

20:50, Richard Wilson

The Gallery Assistant, Maria (centre)…The Woman In The See Through Skirt, Name Unknown (right side)
