MARVELLOUS CAPS – WORKSHOP / SUMMER READING CHALLENGE @ CROYDON LIBRARIES

This year’s theme for the Summer Reading Challenge across Libraries will be ‘Marvellous Makers’, and happy to say I’ll be delivering ‘Marvellous Caps with PiNS’ workshops across 6 Croydon libraries. A special one, being my local Endz. Central Croydon Library (The Clocktower) was proper active back in the day. I remember going to the children’s library with Dad / Mum on a Saturday as a nipper, and then my teenage days doing my college work up on Level 2, often getting distracted by everyone & anything else, was a more a social club back then, somewhere between youth club & school, was a vibe. And not one to overly announce it’s my birthday etc, but it will be on Saturday 3rd August, when I’ll be  running the first two sessions in two libraries that mean the most to me, full circle business, which is nice & testament I guess to say, growing local is important and only really works if you get the same energy & support to do so…thankyou to Joan & Lucy @ Croydon Libraries for supporting on this one.
