AI WEI WEI – ROYAL ACADEMY OF ARTS
Caught the recent Ai Wei Wei show at the Royal Academy and it was quite possibly the best show I’ve ever been too, just WOW!
The level of craftsmanship, conceptual language used and overall depth / scale executed by Chinese artist Ai through his works was totally inspiring…
I wasn’t too familiar with Ai’s work and background prior to the show, but have since immersed myself in his world both as artist and activist (and architect), which is both fascinating and revealing, of one man’s quest to create the most truest art, by any means necessary!
