KRISPY KICKS – REEBOK CLASSICS / KAMIKAZE
Ok, so you might know im a Nikey head through n through…no shoe is touching the Air Max 90s/1s…but when it comes to Reebok Classics, they were the ones that looked after feet way back in school days…the comfort factor was on-point, plus they were affordable, which made mumsy happy and dropped neat with jeans…plus the occasional Pump was in the mix, more on Birthdays…
Then all of a sudden, the whole Reebok phase disappeared, think it was during college when I got a job and was able to afford some AM95s…pretty much from then on it was an ‘Air Max’ thing…
Fast-forward a couple years…POW!! Reebok team up with Swiss Beats to bring you the ‘Kamikaze’…a totally fresh look for Reebok, slightly Yeezy-ish, a mash-up of materials, AM95 Colourway (a good thing) and with their Signature Hexalite visible around the brim…have to say im feeling them…apparently the comfort levs are crazy, and will no doubt be able to format the lacing system so they drop right…the funny thing is, I was literally thinking of giving up on high-ish tops…ie sold my Jordan Oreos/Grapes, Supras etc and thought i’d stick to AM90s/AM1s as they were the only kicks which I seem to wear day in day out and blessed my feet everytime I wear them…which i’ll continue to do…
Although I may have to kop these…im sold on the aesthetic, especially the colourway…and if they as comfortable as what ive heard, then why not…apparently they sold out pretty quick in the US, and will be touching down soon in the UK…so a case of keeping eyes n ears peeled…
